Latest Apple MacBook Pro with its magical feature and look
If you're still rocking a 2017 MacBook Pro with Touch Bar, you may want to sit down for this news - Apple has officially designated it as vintage. This means that repairs and updates will no longer be available, leaving the functionality of your beloved laptop limited.
It's All About Vintage Products
The best thing about the iPhone, iPad or Mac feature. It automatically updates the software. Apple support page explains, "Products are considered vintage when Apple stopped distributing them for sale more than 5 and less than 7 years age.
It doesn't mean that the device stops functioning, but if a user doesn't get an update it may reduce its life. One thing to remember, Apple doesn't promise to repair and service these products.
Apple Magical Touch Bar
But don't fret just yet, as Apple discontinued the Touch Bar model in 2019 and replaced it with the newer, improved version - the 2019 MacBook Pro. This one features a Magic Keyboard, an enlarged Touch Bar, and enhanced processors. Say goodbye to that divisive Touch Bar feature, as it has been phased out by Apple since then.
Let's take a trip down memory lane to the initial launch of the MacBook Pro with Touch Bar in June 2017. It was a game-changer, boasting a reimagined keyboard equipped with butterfly switches, an integrated Touch Bar running along the upper keyboard area, and an incorporated Touch ID sensor.
The First Vintage Apple Products
Now, for those of you who are not familiar with the term 'vintage' in the world of Apple products, it means that your device is no longer eligible for regular software updates or repairs from Apple. Unlike iPhones, iPads, or Macs, which receive software support for at least five years, vintage products do not.
According to Apple's support page, products that were discontinued for sale over five but less than seven years ago are classified as vintage. So, while your 2017 MacBook Pro may still function, its lifespan may be limited without regular updates. Apple has advised that no more software upgrades will be provided for it, although there's a slim chance that an older macOS version that's compatible with it may receive an update.
What's The Catch?
But here's the exciting news - Apple is reportedly planning to overhaul its iPad Pro lineup in 2024! We're talking about the introduction of the M3 Apple Silicon chipset and OLED displays, available in 11-inch and 13-inch sizes, and potentially replacing the current 12.9-inch version. Rumour has it that Apple may also enhance the Magic Keyboard accessory. This is all unofficial information for now, but we can't wait to see what Apple has in store for us.

Apple is determined to reclaim its dominance in the tablet market with the forthcoming iPad Pro. While minor enhancements in processing power, display quality, and camera capabilities have been made since 2018, the company is gearing up for a significant transformation - perhaps one of the most substantial in over ten years. Keep your eyes peeled for more updates on this!
