Launched Mercedes Benz into India

The new and improved Mercedes Benz GLC has made its debut, and it's safe to say that it lives up to the high expectations set by its predecessor. With over 13,000 units sold in the country alone, the GLC has proven to be a solid performer for the German automaker. And globally, it's no slouch either, boasting sales of up to 26 lakh units since its launch in 2016.

What sets the new GLC apart from its predecessor?

For starters, it's been slightly elongated and features an extended wheelbase, resulting in more rear-seat room and a more comfy ride. The exterior has also been given a facelift, with sleeker LED headlights and a chrome-treated underguard.

Inside, the GLC is a dream come true for tech-savvy drivers. The 11.9-inch main infotainment screen is positioned vertically and features Mercedes' latest telematics offerings. It's also compatible with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, making it easy to stay connected on the go.

Under the hood, the GLC is available in both petrol and diesel engine choices. The petrol variant generates a combined power of 280 hp and delivers a torque of up to 600 Nm, while the diesel option provides 220 hp with 640 Nm of torque. And with a 9G TRONIC transmission, shifting is smooth and effortless.
